Original World War ll helmet from the 99th Infantry Division known as the “Checkerboard” authentic or “Battle Babies”. They landed at the French Port of Le Havre and proceed NE to Belgium. At the Battle of the Bulge the unit suffered many casualties yet held it's defensive position. May 4, 1945 they reported that they liberated 3 labor camps and 1 concentration camp, Waldlager camp, which was tied to the Muhldorf camp complex. It has liner and chin strap with clasp.
