- The star is made of copper, on the front surface there is a colored, burned enamel layer. The back is untreated, which means the surface is oxidized. It is copper/black speckled on the back.

The trailer is beaten from a copper plate, degreased, sieved with enamel powder and then fired in the kiln. Enamel is a melting glass. Enamelling is an old craft. With a lot of love, care and patience, unique pieces of jewellery are created in the kiln. :-)
