Christofle Gallia authentic Silver Plated Bread Basket

Very elegant bread basket of the Goldsmith Christofle Gallia in silver plated metal from the 1930s-40s.
Very elegant centerpiece of oval shape with hectic edge in modern silver metal louis XV style with openwork authentic decoration of shells.
In 1880, Christofle bought the Alfénide factory and renamed it "Orfèvrerie Gallia" known throughout the world.

The Christofle Gallia centerpiece basket is in good condition with signs of age and wear with surface scratches inside and below, including one inside visible in photo #3. The serving dish bears the hallmarks of the goldsmith.
